Green Hokkaido Potimarron
Growing information: This variety is distinguished by its dark green skin, which hides contrasting orange flesh with a delicious chestnut flavour. More subtle than the red Hokkaido squash, it offers a very fine texture and can also be eaten with the skin. It requires a little space for its creeping stems to spread and cover the ground.
A word from PÉPI PÉPI: Rarer than its red cousin, the Green Hokkaido is a gem of peasant biodiversity. In syntropy, its vigour is appreciated as it allows for the rapid creation of a dense understory. Its preservation is remarkable: it will decorate your kitchen for months before being savoured. A true treasure of resilience for winter.
Our prices: For each of our plants, we offer 2 prices. The basic price corresponds to the average price you would find in a garden centre. The support price values the work behind our plants: heirloom seeds, peat-free compost — because elsewhere, peat bogs are destroyed to fertilise your plants —, plants sown, transplanted and nurtured by our hands, and zero import-export.
Whatever your choice, it's a good choice!
